My experience writting blogs

Writting blogs was an interesting experience, I've never do this before, so I wasn't knowing how to start to write, but then, I just relax and write about things (yes, it was that simple). I've tend to never talk about myself (likes, dislikes, etc) so I have to admit I wasn't to comfortable writting this, anyway, not a big deal. Anyway, It was a different experience, and I think this could be an useful tool for a scientist work.

My writting skills have improved a bit, I can now connect sentences better than before and know how to use contextualized words or phrases.

It could be interesting in the future to make a blog about science invastigation to develop new knowledges, after all, everyone have their rights to access to them. This could be an useful tool to develop science to people, blogs are very popular nowadays and we have to use it in our favour: One of the most important responsabilitys of a scientist is to develop knowledges to the mass.

I'm not very interesting to talk anything else in blogs, since I don't like to share my personal life, so I don't think I'm going to write about something but science.

Genetics and DNA manipulations

Genetics
and DNA manipulations have a bright future in the area of science. The majority of diseases might be cured by altering our genetic information, creating new chains with the code for make our immune system stronger, or simply denying chains to prevent diseases.

Biochemists have a lot to do about this, their job is to investigate as much as possible  in this area, because antibiotics are getting too short: bacterias are starting to develop resistance. In fact there's a bacteria who is unaffected by any antibiotics, and that is starting to make problems, big problems in the future. If science do not proceed in another level, antibiotics could make bacterias more dangerous than any time in history.

I really like to aboard this topic, because is very interesting and critical, we're talking about genetics since around 25 years ago, so don't know much about this, there's a lot to investigate, and I could like to help.

Genetics manipulations is a double-edge weapon, It'll solve a lot of problems, cure a lot diseases, but at the same time, It might create another problems, for example, It might provocate another diseases in a person if you over-express a chain in order to deny other.

I've learned about this by books, as I've said in previous posts, I read a lot science books so I was familiarized with this.

If we're careful and consequential, a lot (if not the most) of disease might have a cure and this may increase life expectancy

The most enjoyable subject

My favourite subject in this semester is Chemistry. In class we principally put attention about what the teacher is saying, the class is theoretical, we just view some important concepts and do exercises about imaginary cases.

I like this subject because I like chemistry, this is the most basic subject we're going to have, and it's one of the reasons why I am here. The interesting thing about chemistry is that you can explain why things happens since the most basic structure of matter and why a substance have some behaviours and another substance have others behaviours.

The auxiliary is so good: she explained the contents very well and give us tips to make the study easier and understandable. We have class with her every friday.

As I've said, this subject is very important and teachers understand that too, this subject is a bit hard because have a lot of contents and rules inside itself.

We share the class with chemist students, I think we're about 70 or 80 people in classroom.
Some of the contents we have seen are: Dimensional analysis, Atomic theory, reactions (Redox), stoichiometry and solutions, every one of these are important to our career.
